Profile:
– Appropriate Qualification;
– Registration in the Medical Association;
– Knowledge of French, diploma / certification required B2 level of French is required;
– Recognition of medical diploma and speciality in France (process takes around 4 to 6 months).

1. Private hospital near Bordeaux. 

– There are 400 employees, including between 70 and 80 self-employed doctors. All surgical specialities are represented. Private practice status.

– Currently 2 gastroenterologists in place, not associated (no fee sharing).
– Main needs: Fibroscopy and colonoscopy. The gastroenterologist will also have to see hospitalised patients. On-call duty possible.
– Possibility of doing interventional work > Technical platform available, emergency department, 2 MRIs, 2 scanners, analysis lab, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, etc. Help with setting up and advance on fees, 15,000 surgical operations per year, 11 anaesthetists on site, Possibility of working part-time.

2. Polyclinic in Tarbes.

– With 2 establishments and 300 beds and places, our Polyclinic welcomes more than 25,000 patients each year. It has a modern and efficient technical platform with 15 intervention rooms, 3 intensive care and continuous monitoring units, 2 MRIs, 2 scanners and an innovative radiotherapy service.

– Team: 2 gastroenterologists close to retirement
– Activity: Gastroenterology activity (per year): · 2,000 colonoscopies · 800 upper gastrointestinal fiberoscopies · 500 endoscopic excisions of colon lesions · Cancerology authorization and medical oncology center
– Equipment: · 15 operating rooms · 2 rooms endoscopy · 7 colonoscopes (NBI) · 5 gastroscopes · echo endoscopes, image intensifier · video capsule · 2 argon plasma · 1 classic proctological surgery block
– Other details: · No PDS (provided by the CH) · On-call duty: on patients at the Polyclinic and to be organized within the team · Liberal gastroenterology monopoly in the department · Work rate: 4.5 days/week · Leave (holiday) : 6 to 7 weeks / year
– Estimated turnover: Between 144 and 150K €/ year
